Tournament Rules

Welcome to the general rules page for the tournament.

⚠️ Important Notice: Anyone breaking or testing any of the following rules risks immediate ejection from the tournament, loss of team deposit/early bird entry, and a potential ban from future tournaments.

🎟️ Entry, Refunds & Deposits

Team Entry

  • There are no refunds for team entries (unless we can fill your place with a team on the waiting list) and if so the refund will be less the £4 admin fee.

  • Reserve Team Entries will receive a refund (if we can not offer you a place) less the £4 admin fee.

Camping

  • No refunds for camping fees, camper vans or caravans.

Deposit Scheme

🎗️Wristbands

  • Mandatory Wear: All players and spectators must wear a wristband (camping or non-camping) at all times throughout the weekend.

  • Under 18s: All U18s must wear an U18 wristband and be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.

  • Replacements: Broken wristbands will only be replaced if the damaged band is physically returned.

  • Lost Wristbands: Lost wristbands will be charged at the full camping fee rate.

🛑 Under 18s

  • Supervision: U18s must have a designated adult that is onsite and responsible for them all weekend. Under 18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times while on site.

  • Disco: Under 18s are not permitted in the disco unless accompanied by a responsible adult.

  • Underage Drinking will not be tolerated anywhere on site, and will be reported directly to the appropriate authorities. U18s are not permitted in the Sports Centre Bar

🪩 Disco

  • Wristbands Required: Valid wristbands must be worn to gain entry to the disco.

  • U18 Access: Under 18s are not permitted in the disco unless accompanied by a responsible adult.

🚗 Arrivals & Parking

  • Site Opening: Absolutely no entry to the site before 3:00 PM on Friday.

  • Drop-off Zone: The drop-off area is strictly for dropping off equipment and passengers. No parking is permitted in the main car park during arrival periods.

  • Manor Farm Car Park: Please park respectfully. Do not block other vehicles or access routes, and strictly adhere to all "No Parking" signage.

📝 Registration & Identification

  • Everyone must register their details upon arrival when paying for camping.

  • Proof of ID is required. A driving licence or passport is preferred, but a valid bank card will suffice.

🚫 Site Prohibitions & Safety Rules

🔊 Loud Music & Speakers (NEW FOR 2026)

  • NO SPEAKERS PERMITTED ANYWHERE on the tournament grounds—including near the courts, in the camping areas, or while walking around, day or night.

🍾 Glass Bottles

  • NO GLASS is allowed anywhere on site. The rugby pitches you camp on are used year-round by adult and junior sports teams. Venue staff and volunteers will confiscate all glass containers.

  • Please only bring drinks in plastic bottles or cans.

🍳 Cooking, Barbecues & Fires

  • Open fires and barbecues are strictly prohibited.

  • Per venue and Bristol City Council regulations, the use of bottled gas and cooking on the tournament site is forbidden. Any cooking equipment found will be confiscated until your departure.

🐾 Animals

  • No pets or animals of any kind (dogs, cats, reptiles, amphibians, etc.) are allowed anywhere on the tournament grounds, including the camping area. (Registered assistance animals excepted).

⛺ Camping & Gazebos

  • Limits: Teams are welcome to bring one gazebo per team to create a communal space between tents. Please respect the space constraints.

  • Space Management: If camping space becomes tight, tournament marshals may ask you to relocate tents or gazebos.

🏐 Equipment & Play

  • Volleyballs: You must bring your own volleyballs for warm-ups and matches.

  • Whistles: Whistles should be used for all officiating duties. We have a limited supply, but additional whistles will be available for purchase at the merchandise stand.

👦 Junior Volleyball

  • If junior coaching sessions are scheduled, children must be directly supervised by a parent or guardian for the duration of the training.

📸 Behaviour & Photography

  • Behaviour: Aggressive, abusive, or anti-social behaviour towards staff, volunteers, or other participants will not be tolerated.

  • Personal Photos: You are welcome to take photos of your friends and team, but please remain mindful of people in the background.

  • Official Media: Anyone wishing to take photos of other teams or the general event must register for an Official Photography Pass with the tournament organisers prior to shooting.

🚑 First Aid & Medical Decisions

  • First Aid services will be available on site to provide treatment and advice for minor injuries.

  • For serious injuries, emergency services (999) and local Accident & Emergency (A&E) hospitals must be used.

  • Medical Responsibility: It is the sole responsibility of individual players and their supporting parties to make medical decisions for any injuries or health situations that arise.
